Questions
Is the assessment really free?
Yes. The assessment, your complete ranking of 116 countries, the score breakdowns and all country pages are free, with no account needed. Paid reports start at €39.
Where does the data come from?
From the World Bank's World Development Indicators and Worldwide Governance Indicators, both published under CC BY 4.0. Our dataset was last refreshed on October 6, 2026, and each figure shows the year it refers to.
Is my ranking generated by AI?
No. Rankings are a weighted average of dimension scores, so the same answers always give the same result. AI is only used in the optional assistant and in report summaries, and those parts are labelled.
Can I rely on this for visa or tax decisions?
No. Switch Horizon helps you research and shortlist. It isn't legal, tax or immigration advice. Rules change often, so always check official government sources or a qualified adviser.
Do I need an account?
Not for the assessment or your results. Your answers stay in your browser and in the results link. You only need an account to buy and keep reports.
Why isn't my favourite place included?
We only include countries where the World Bank publishes enough recent data to score them fairly. Taiwan and several overseas territories, for example, aren't covered by the World Bank.
